Established in 1990 as the first peer-run agency in the world for young people living with HIV/AIDS, Bay Area Young Positives [BAY Positives] helps these people live longer, healthier, happier, productive lives.
"I can't describe the feeling of relief I had when I walked into the group. There were people who were my age, had HIV, and were alive and happy!"
BAY Positives encourages all youth to know their HIV status. We provide referrals to free test sites, accompany youth through the entire testing process, and award gifts to those who test through our agency.

Half of new HIV infections
strike youth under 25.
