be 80% effective in preventing an HIV-negative person
from becoming positive after exposure to HIV.

Clinic offers testing, counseling, and prescription
for PEP medication within 72 hours of a possible
exposure to HIV.

Expect
to meet with a clinician to discuss medications, have
blood drawn for HIV and STD tests, and receive a schedule
for follow-up appointments at 1, 3, and 6 months. |
